Stunning how things go fast.

As the VMware frenzy about vCloud Express is still hot (vCloud being substantially  a long due API interface to perform capacity management), somewhat less of public domain happens: RightScale (my darling company) is supporting vCloud Express.

It means we, common humans, could consolidate all types of Clouds we might want: Eucalyptus, FlexiScale, Amazon, and now, your internal virtualized infrastructure..

In my opinion vCloud is more interesting for service providers, as it stands today, than for end users. ISPs have now a way to call you day and night to tell you how fine it will be to integrate your vSphere with their public virtual machines.

RightScale goes further by providing the chance to leverage APIs, manage our own infrastructures, possibly integrate them among different Clouds.

I, for one, welcome our Cloudy Overlord: RightScale. I raise the glass for you, and thanks a lot giving us control.
